Crane/Tower Operator operates electric tower crane equipment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Crane/Tower Operator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Crane/Tower Operator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a supervisor or manager. - 43 Month Contract with possibility of subsequent Full-Time Permanent employment
- Rotating shifts: 8-12 hours at a time, up to 44 hours/week
- Remote control of robots for different kinds of maintenance including solar field rough cutting and trimming
- Loading and unloading of trailers and trucks
- Supervision of robots over several hours of operation
- Conducting Autonomous testing
Required Skills/Experience:- High school diploma and post-secondary degree as an asset
- Valid driver's license clean driving abstract
- Commercial driving license as an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions including freezing temperatures, snow, heat, humidity and rain
- Physical ability to walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in the AM and PM, including on weekends
