Crane/Tower Operator operates electric tower crane equipment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Crane/Tower Operator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Crane/Tower Operator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a supervisor or manager. The pay rate for this job is $35 / hourResponsibilities :
- Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
- Checking loads are secure Stacking empty pallets. Qualifications :
- Be at least 21 years of age Current / Active RI 2A / 1C
- OSHA-10 Certification or a willingness to obtain it
- Completing and maintaining equipment log sheets and reports
- Performing pre-operational checks of equipment as well as basic maintenance
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
