About the role : Individuals will be responsible for the production of vitamin D and nutraceutical powders produced from mushrooms and mycelium products.

This individual will possess knowledge from receipt of product, slicing operation, UV treatment, grinding, mixing, packaging, storage, shipping, sanitation and documentation along all levels of production

JOB TITLE : Powder Operator I

BUSINESS UNIT : Powder Division

LOCATION : MFI Powder Division

REPORTS TO : Powder Supervisor

WORK SCHEDULE : Generally M-F 12 : 00pm - 8 : 30pm or 4am - 12 : 00pm

TRAVEL TIME % : None

TYPE OF POSITION : Full Time

Compensation : The following information is provided in honesty as a general description of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon related factors such as, skills and experience, education, work location, internal pay equity, etc.

Salary : Starting Rate is $16.00 / Hour and after completing one year of employment, will be increased $17.00 / Hour

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Monitor, control, document, clean, sanitized, and operate the UV line and Sliced / Dicer units
• UV Line processing and loading exposed product to trays
• Unloading dehydrator
• Assisting with blending process
• Perform sanitation per SOP on production equipment, floors, utensils, and facility rooms.
• Assist with supplies and product inventory
• Process product using cluster breaker
• Clean and prepare nutraceutical bags for production

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

Required :

• Familiar with GMP and Food handling
• Must be detail oriented.
• Dependable and able to work various shifts and overtime as necessary.

Desired :

• High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent.
• Food Handling experience.
• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
