Creative Carpets & Interiors is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. We are a family owned and operated retail store that specializes in flooring and custom tile work. We are looking for a motivated associate who is skilled in multiple areas. Your responsibilities would include; learning product specifications and being able to sell the appropriate products to customers, warehouse work (manual labor, lifting heavy objects, driving fork lift), traveling to jobsites (to measure, check progress, problem solve), and upkeep of the showroom. Previous flooring knowledge is not required.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work alternating Saturday mornings
• Must have basic math skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have professional appearance and personality
• Must have professional speaking skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be willing to develop and learn from experienced team members
• Must be willing to learn and memorize product specifications

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly manner. Be the first point of contact for customers who call or visit the store.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise based on their needs
• Answer customer questions about merchandise selection, application, and function.
• Process POS (point of sale) transactions.
• Keep Showroom organized and clean
• Help manage warehouse
• Help load / unload trucks

Pay: $11.00 - $20.00 per hour
