Background of Uflourish Church

The mission of Uflourish church is to be a gospel-centered, multi-ethnic, church planting church helping people flourish in the life God intended for them to live. Uflourish officially launched on September 26, 2021. Uflourish Church has a small staff, but are looking to expand in the area of creative arts and worship. Our desire is that our worship environment would reflect the cultural preferences of both the urban and suburban contexts.

Position Expectations and Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of church communications including website, email, church app, and social media
• Create announcement slides, sermon slides, and video bumpers
• Create lyric slides for weekend services within Pro Presenter
• Edit and upload videos
• Ability or willingness to learn CCM and contemporary black church worship such as (Israel Houghton, Todd Dulaney, William Mcdowell, Travis Green),
• Manage the scheduling in Planning Center for services. musicians, singers, and tech
• Participate in all service planning and review meetings
• Invite, recruit, and empower others to be a part of the Worship and Tech team
• Coordinate and help facilitate worship team auditions
• Ability to create chord charts
• Ability to run sound (on a basic level)
• Some working knowledge of stage lighting programming
• Lead worship rehearsal
• Create stem templates for each song

• Who has some ability to sing and play an instrument
• Who sas some understanding of the technical environment required to make worship happen

• With the ability to lead and direct band rehearsals
• Who can help team members grow in their walk with Jesus
• Who takes ownership and is highly responsible.
• Who is goal oriented
• Who has a love for people of different races and cultures
• Who appreciates the complexities of multi-ethnic ministry
• Who has a high level of commitment
• Who loves Jesus and his people
• Who has a shepherd’s heart and is a team player
• Who demonstrates flexibility in dealing with different cultural preferences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
