New Developed Nations is looking for Certified Peer Support Specialist with experience in audio engineering to join our team as a Creative Coach.

This role involves innovating behavioral health services by incorporating music therapy, including lyric writing, music production, poetry, journaling, and creative writing. The specialist will serve as a role model to youth, assisting them in their recovery process and helping them gain greater independence and community integration.

How to Qualify:

• High School Diploma required, BA in counseling or related field preferred.
• Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor Credential or ability to become registered within 60 days required.
• Has completed, or can complete, specialized training provided or contracted by Washington State Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery in becoming a Certified Youth Peer Counselor.
• Experience in music production and audio engineering (Cubase or Pro Tools0
• Minimum one year experience of working with youth
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  
• Ability to manage individual stress and perform essential job functions in a safe and professional manner.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid state driver’s license. and acceptable driving record in accorrdance with organization guidelines.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide outreach, engagement and support to enrolled participants.
  
• Facilitate activities.
• Coordinates cross-agency communication and planning issues as needed.
• Provides transportation when taking students/families to activities, shopping centers, school, court, family visits, etc.; Drives company vehicles.
