As the Deputy CFO, you will spearhead the financial operations of the firm, providing both day-to-day oversight and strategic direction. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the fiscal health of the organization while driving financial initiatives to support our growth and objectives.

Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

• - Manage all financial and accounting functions of the firm, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, cash management, preparation of financial statements, job cost accounting, and contract administration.
• - Monitor the firm's financial performance, preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
• - Develop, interpret, and implement sophisticated financial models and accounting principles to enhance financial planning and control processes.
• - Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, overseeing key functions such as payables, receivables, tax compliance, and audit preparation.
• - Coordinate annual audits and collaborate with government auditors as needed to ensure regulatory compliance.
• - Lead the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications for the Controller:

• -Job Cost Accounting Standards, POC and understanding of billing, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• -Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• -Experience building and leading a team
• -CPA certification is a plus
