Job Objective:
As the Music and Creative Arts Director for the Indiana Division you will ensure that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out by inspiring, equipping, and developing leaders, musicians, and others involved with creative arts.
What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Participation: Must embrace The Salvation Army's mission, be an active Salvationist in good standing, and attend a Salvation Army corps
Education: BA Degree in Music Education or related creative arts field (significant musical management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed. Findings may disqualify an individual for this position
Experience: Two years' experience in working with children and adults in the field of music and/or creative arts preferred. Proficiency in music leadership, personal musical, creative arts, and vocal instruction is required.
Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment.

Will supervise youth, program participants, and volunteers.
