About the role

We are seeking an Associate Creative Director to join our Creative team.  The Associate Creative Director works closely with the Marketing, Design, and E-Commerce teams to design and execute content strategy and marketing communications.  The right candidate has a keen eye for modern design, is expert in emergent technologies and tools in the creative space, and has extensive contacts in vendor and creative resources. The role must be able to think big-picture as well as be able to be “hands-on” and execute specific designs according to marketing briefs, pay close attention to granular details, and manage projects.  The Associate Creative Director has the opportunity to grow into a Creative Director position.  This is a full-time, on-site position in our Torrance, CA office.

Responsibilities:

• Ideate and execute marketing briefs and designs for all brand and digital marketing communications, including new product launches
• Contribute to content strategy brainstorming across integrated marketing channels in digital, social media, paid media, mobile, print
• Drive customer retention and build the simplehuman community on social platforms.
• Translate business objectives into creative strategies and tactics
• Identify the relevant technologies and resources in executing creative projects
• Copywriting, design, asset production and project management

About You

• Degree in Design or related field
• 3-5 years of experience
• Excellent taste with a clean and modern aesthetic
• Ability to articulate vision via clear verbal, written and visual communication
• Ability to direct and control concepts, projects and people
• High-energy and charismatic
• Tools: SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite
