Creative Director - Web jobs in Schenectady, NY

Core responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality, forward-thinking digital solutions that achieve client brand objectives
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the members of the development team
• Architect, build, and maintain digital marketing materials, including websites, mobile applications, marketing emails, display banners, and data warehouses
• Champion best practices in UX, UI, software development, and quality assurance

What it takes:

• 10 years of experience in the development of web and marketing technology solutions at a marketing agency or similar organization
• Strong understanding of user experience best practices and principles
• Proficiency in key modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/ES6 , Node.js, and React
• Proficiency in key DevOps and build tools, including AWS, Jenkins, Gulp, and Git
• In-depth knowledge of designing and building for accessibility, WCAG compliance, and authoring code that is not only performant but oriented toward search engine optimization
• Authors clean, well-structured, well-documented, and reusable code
• Articulate, detail-oriented communication skills
• Stays abreast of new technology and development trends to provide strategic, creative, and technical solutions agency-wide and to our clients
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Has a sense of humor and willingness to go with the flow

Bonus points:

• Pharma experience
• Experience working with popular CMS platforms, including WordPress, Sitecore, Kentico, or Episerver
• Experience developing presentations for the Veeva platform
• Experience with mobile and desktop app development using Swift, React Native, or PhoneGap
• Backend development experience in C#, PHP, and/or
