Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Prisoner Express creates an opportunity for incarcerated men and women to get information, education and a public forum for creative self-expression. Through our newsletters and programs we step through the isolation and alienation of prison life – our goal is to bring hope and foster a sense of community among the prisoners who participate.
Student will assist library director in reading and organizing prisoner writings. Student will lead meetings of community volunteers, who will read, and write responses to prisoner written journals, art and poetry. Student will select journal and other writings for social media postings, help digitally archive journal writings, and maintain journal filing systems. Students will record digital images, enter data as needed, and assist in bulk mailings. The position will require data entry, writing letters to prisoners, reading prisoner submissions, editing prisoner writing, and assisting in mailing educational materials to prisoners across the US. Employee will be trained to do general library work at alternatives Library.
Pay rate: $16.00
