Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Our work environment includes:
CREATIVE CONTENT MANAGER – FANA is seeking a graphic designer to contribute to the strategic development of the brand’s creative language, supporting marketing initiatives and contributing to drive the brand’s digital presence.
Candidates should have experience in three notable areas:
- Social media – the ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of social media marketing and how to express the brand on several and different platforms. With an eye on luxury, this candidate will balance performance with branding.
- Content development – this person will play a pivotal role in developing assets that reflect the brand aesthetic – from print to digital, mailers to promotional materials, product stills to videos.
- Copywriting/development – primarily across social media and website this role will align assets with the tone of the brand.
This person will work closely with external partners, as well as FANA management team, on expressing the brand to consumers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with FANA’s CMO to develop a content strategy that supports marketing objectives across all media types.
- Work with external partners to ensure all assets are developed in accordance with FANA brand guidelines and are consistent so they create meaningful messaging.
- Create a center of excellence across FANA marketing materials and social media channels – Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest.
- Further develop under-utilized social channels – YouTube, Reddit, etc
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels and competitors to ensure FANA is at the forefront of social creativity and innovation.
- Develop social media and other secondary level assets through compelling photography and design.
- Organize assets and build/maintain creative asset library for management reference and external partner usage.
- Utilizing existing assets, develop digital advertising units in standard sizes and work with media partners to create custom/rich units.
- Step in, as necessary, to modify print, out-of-home and other ad-hoc layouts.
- Support retail store activation needs and work with management/retail team on executing visual merchandising and display concepts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience managing social media platforms and content for brands
- Exceptional social and digital brand skillset with a luxury approach
- Extensive experience creating social media assets, including video
- Excellent editorial/creative judgment and ability to capture and express FANA’s brand essence to attract target customers
- Strong team player – collaborative and enthusiastic to drive team results
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and project management skills
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Photography skills/experience
