Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Creative Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Director for Private Early Childhood and Primary School in Monmouth County, NJ. (Preschool through Second Grade) We are seeking a candidate to grow with us! As a long-established and renowned school, we have developed a loyal clientele base. Our team of educators work together with the director to develop a challenging yet age-appropriate curriculum. We follow brain-based and early childhood research for best practices. We focus on the "whole child," supporting cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development. Our creative games and curriculum enhance our students' cognitive growth, while our integrated curriculum enables students to develop strong critical thinking skills. Throughout the day, our students are engaged in play-based, meaningful learning experiences. Through our approach, our students leave our center as confident, life-long learners!


    The director's responsibilities include leading our team of professionals, supporting and enhancing our progressive curriculum, developing positive relationships with the staff and parent community, interviewing new students and securing future enrollment, maintaining and completing all required documentation for the state of NJ and local authorities, handling daily tasks such as emails and supply orders, and teaching a class as needed.


    We are seeking an experienced, certified early childhood progessional (pre-K-2nd) along with some administrative experience. During your first year, you will be mentored by the present director to ensure a smooth transition. As the director, you will represent our school and continue our path of excellence. The position is a full time position from late August through June. During the months of July and August, the requirements are part-time. We are offering a highly competitive salary with a bonus package based on performance. Health benefits, vision, dental, and 401K are available.

    Duties

    Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with the vision and with state and local requirements. Maintain quality effectiveness measurements.

    • Develop progressive educational curriculum; collaborate with staff to develop positive learning activities; manage adherence to state and local regulations.
    • Maintain student records in accordance with established enrollment procedures and guidelines.
    • Maintain communications with parents of current and prospective students through direct conversation, newsletters and parent handbook; implement community outreach activities to maintain and promote positive community relationships.
    • Maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies; ensure legal and financial compliance.
    • Resolve conflicts and create a caring atmosphere to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
    • Manage budget planning and review.
    • Establish illness and emergency procedures; ensure staff is trained appropriately.
    • Implement strategic plan and goals in keeping with mission of program.
    • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

    Requirements
    • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
    • 5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
    • High energy.
    • Strong oral and written communications sk ills; technology skills.
    • Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
    • A strong understanding of child development.
    • Strong finance and budgeting skills.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Must clear full background check.
    • Must pass health screening.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE.
