Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Creative Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Summary of Responsibilities

    The multimedia creative manager is a key creative force, tasked with spearheading the development and design of our corporate creative endeavors across digital and print media. This role is central to driving the creation of visual content that resonates with our brand identity and objectives. The ideal candidate merges strategic insight with creative flair to deliver outstanding graphic design and multimedia projects, thereby enhancing the company's public image. This position demands a unique blend of graphic design skills and multimedia production capabilities to effectively convey messages, strengthen brand identity, and boost marketing and communication efforts.


    Primary Responsibilities and Objectives

    • Design and produce a wide array of digital, print and motion graphic materials, leveraging Adobe Creative Suite for layout, design, image/photo enhancement, video production, and graphic creation
    • Adhere to and enforce brand guidelines across all projects, while integrating and respecting other brands as necessary
    • Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects, keeping internal stakeholders updated on progress
    • Collaborate with various teams to create designs that support marketing, branding, and business development goals
    • Conceptualize and design marketing materials such as flyers, social media images, newsletters, brochures, infographics, videos, and more, ensuring they are both creative and communicative
    • Work with internal experts to develop designs that effectively communicate key messages and enhance audience comprehension
    • Create and refine logo designs, ensuring they are aligned with brand standards
    • Develop and produce multimedia content including videos, animations, and interactive presentations, tailored to enhance marketing campaigns and digital presence
    • Utilize visual storytelling to captivate and engage the target audience, optimizing content for different platforms and devices
    • Keep abreast of the latest in multimedia technology and trends to enhance multimedia strategies and explore innovative solutions
    • Oversee and manage project queue within our project management system, ensuring timely progression and execution of tasks in alignment with project goals and deadlines
    • Handle feedback from various stakeholders, making necessary and timely adjustments to creative projects to address any conflicting input
    • Ensure all creative outputs meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time
    • Coordinate the production and distribution of creative materials with third-party vendors as required
    • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and projects

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, business, English, communications, or a related field is required
    • 5 years of experience in producing exemplary artwork for business proposals and/or presentations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, with a portfolio that demonstrates this experience
    • 3 years of video and/or motion graphics experience is required
    • 5 years of advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Drive

    Skills and Requirements

    • Advanced proficiency in graphic design, including expertise in branding, typography, layout, composition, color theory, and visual communication
    • Senior-level experience in video creation and editing, capable of producing high-quality visual content
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas both orally and in writing
    • Creative thinking skills, with the ability to transform concepts into compelling graphics for diverse audiences.
    • Proficiency in creating sophisticated presentations across various platforms, including mastery of PowerPoint and Word for design purposes. This includes designing layouts, generating themes, utilizing master slides, and creating custom color palettes.
    • Professional demeanor in client service, capable of engaging effectively with all management levels and providing excellent customer experiences
    • Strong project management skills, able to manage complex projects, synthesize directions from various sources, and work independently to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Experience working with distributed teams and displaying flexibility in task management
    • Demonstrated organizational skills, with a focus on multitasking, prioritizing, and adapting to project needs as they evolve
    • Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses, if assigned

    Scheduling

    • Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working outside business hours, weekends, and non-traditional holidays
    • Ability to travel (5%)

    Environment

    • Exposure to an environment typically found in an office building
    • Frequent exposure to airports, airplanes, rental cars, hotels, etc.
