A family is searching for 2-3 licensed nurses to provide care to a loved one with developmental disabilities in their home and community. Part time available.

This is a great opportunity for a special person to join our team! We are looking for an RN and/or LVN to work with a developmentally disabled female with cerebral palsy and other medical needs, in the comfort of her own home and community. Position is full or part-time; a few shifts per week with ability to add more as fill-in.

Job duties include: ensuring client safety, providing care, occasional outings, and light household duties.

You would be working in a friendly, comfortable environment while being in charge of only one client who is a calming and warm person to be around.

The client is located in La Selva, within walking distance to the beach. A quiet, safe, lovely neighborhood.

Qualifications:
*Valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation.
*Clear TB test and physical
*Finger printing & background check.
*Good communication skills
*Current CPR & First-aide certified
*Valid Rn or LVN license
*Previous comparable work experience
*Trained in medical emergencies
*Positive, compassionate, caring attitude.
*Responsible, professional, on-time, reliable, team player
*Long-term commitment.
*Physically able to lift/transfer up to 56 lbs.

Responsibilities include:
*Companion Care
*Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
*Personal Care: Bathing, Dressing, changing, feeding
*Medication comprehension
*Light Housekeeping
*Meal Preparation
*Medical care: G-tube, seizure management, developmental care, oxygen,
nebulizer, suction machine.
