Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. General Position Overview:
Representing our 6 Napa Valley iconic wineries Heitz Cellar, Stony Hill, Burgess, Ink Grade, Haynes, & Brendel, the Creative Director will serve as a key role on the LWE Direct to Guest Marketing and Sales Team. This critical role supports the DTG marketing initiatives through a variety of deliverables and mediums. Primarily focused on content creation, this role will execute or assist in managing photoshoots, design, and social media strategies across our luxury estate wineries, to tell compelling stories and build meaningful relationships in a thriving community.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Director of Marketing and LWE Brands to develop & maintain creative direction and strategy across all marketing channels, including e-commerce, print, social media and digital marketing
• Oversee all LWE Brands’ content creation both internal and outsourced including photography, video production, design, and collateral
• Build and manage creative content calendars for all LWE brands across marketing channels in Monday.com
•Build and present creative briefs for marketing strategy and programming including collateral, packaging, and special projects
• Oversee design and production of all LWE Brands’ printed and digital materials, packaging, collateral, special projects, etc
• Collaborate closely with Marketing Coordinator on executing creative and design projects including print collateral, digital design, labels, and packaging
• Assist in managing the marketing communications calendar and strategy
• Oversee and manage social media for all LWE Brands including scheduling, posting, engagement, and analytics
• Manage creative marketing budget for all LWE brands in collaboration with Director of Marketing and Estate Directors
• Participate in all digital creative including web and e-commerce campaigns
• Manage and organize digital asset library (Filecamp) for LWE brands
• Occasionally may be called upon to work on creative projects for Demeine Estates
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a marketing role, marketing products in a luxury goods or high-end sales environment (wine industry preferred)
• Proficient in Adobe suite, Office 365, Capture One, and comfortable working in a virtual networked environment
Proficient in label design and packaging
• Experienced DSLR Shooter
• Drone experience preferred
• Knowledge of wines, winemaking and/or wine culture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing creative agencies and contractors
