Credit Analysis Manager develops and implements procedures for analyzing the creditworthiness of prospective and current customers. Manages a group of credit analysts and approves requests for credit extensions based on analyst recommendations. Being a Credit Analysis Manager may personally handle larger/more complex accounts. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Credit Analysis Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Credit Analysis Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Credit Analysis Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. There is a Credit Services Manager position available at the Kish Innovation Center in Reedsville, Mifflin County.
The responsibilities of the role include overseeing commercial credit underwriting and workflow; managing the analysis of financial statements; credit underwriting, approval process; and ongoing monitoring of loan portfolios; overseeing the hiring, training, and development of the commercial underwriting staff; and supporting other credit administration area projects as needed.
The qualifications of the position include:- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or business- related curriculum, or commensurate experience
- Five (5) years' experience in a credit analyst, business banking or related role preferred
- Detailed knowledge of loa documentation fundamentals and standard commercial banking practices
- Excellent written/ verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills required
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and financial software programs
- Ability to utilize online resources for research
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
