    Responsibilities:
    • Credit Analysis and Approval:
    • Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
    • Analyze financial data, credit reports, and other relevant information to make informed credit decisions.
    • Establish and manage credit limits based on risk assessment.
    • Credit Policy Development:
    • Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures.
    • Regularly review and update credit policies to align with industry best practices and company goals.
    Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and purveyors.
    • Communicate credit terms and conditions to customers and sales teams and address inquiries or concerns related to credit. Work closely with sales department to set up new accounts and address credit issues.
    Collections Management:
    • Oversee the collections process to ensure timely payment from customers.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce delinquency and improve cash flow.
    Dispute Resolution:
    • Investigate and resolve customer disputes related to invoicing or credit terms.
    • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and maintain positive relationships.
    • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and analyze reports on accounts receivable aging, credit risk, and collections performance. Provide DSO trend analysis.
    • Provide regular updates and recommendations to management regarding credit-related issues.
    • Monitor receivables and collections through consistently reviewing of the aging and customer accounts.
    • Analyze delinquent accounts and recommend action plans.
    Legal Compliance:
    • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to credit and collections.
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all credit and collections activities.
    Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and customer service, to achieve company-wide financial goals.
    • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on credit policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in credit management and accounts receivable (minimum 5 years experience)
    • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
    • Experience with variety of payment methods ACH, credit card, remote deposit capture and lockbox.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and accounting software.
    • In depth knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
    • ERP experience and proficiency.
