    Leverage your previous management experience and commitment to superior customer service to oversee the credit and collections activities of the company, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, managing credit risk, and maximizing cash flow. You will lead and motivate a team of credit and collections specialists, monitor performance, and implement best practices.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement credit and collections policies and procedures in accordance with company objectives and industry standards
    • Analyze customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits based on financial data, payment history, and industry trends
    • Monitor and report on the status of accounts receivable, aging, and collections activities
    • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent customers and initiate legal actions when necessary
    • Verify and manage refund payments issued to customers
    • Coordinate with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve billing disputes and customer complaints
    • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly reports on credit and collections performance and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Manage the credit and collections team, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance appraisals
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to credit and collections

    Requirements

    • 5 years of experience in credit and collections management
    • Ability to lead and foster a high level of morale for a high-performing, customer-focused team
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, credit analysis, and collections techniques
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Leadership and team-building skills
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
