Summary/Objective:
The Credit Specialist is responsible for specific credit and related accounting functions for SCM.
Essential Functions:

- Administers company credit application process by reviewing the credit application, establishing lines of credit, conducting financial analysis including third party report review and makes recommendations to the credit supervisor and accounting manager.
- Opens new accounts.
- Maintains records and files.
- Obtains and processes daily cash receipts.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands:
This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop and phone.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Occasional early morning, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- Related work experience in accounting and/or finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or related field. (Preferred)
