    Position Summary

    This role is responsible for decisions regarding loan applications through multiple delivery channels within the Credit Union. Decisions require compliance, expert decision-making analysis skill and consistency to policy standards and guidelines. This role is considered an individual contributor within the Credit Union.

    Essential Duties

    • Analyze applicants' credit bureau, income, collateral, employment and residence time, red flags, credit and non-credit factors to decision loans ensuring they are of the appropriate level of risk.
    • Calculate member and related entity total aggregate exposure and decision application within assigned authority or obtain higher approval authority to ensure a sound lending decision is made.
    • Review and process requests for subordinations on first mortgages to ensure proper evaluation of property and to determine feasibility of granting the request to subordinate.
    • Manage loan queues in Symitar, TCI (Route One and Dealer Track) and applications from PSCU on-line web applications by thoroughly analyzing and decisioning to maintain competitive turnaround times.
    • Obtain registration and maintain NMLS Certification to provide and communicate terms and rates to members on home equity loan applications to ensure compliance with SAFE Act Regulation.
