COMMERCIAL CREDIT ANALYST

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct self in accordance with the UNIFIED Way.
2. Assists in the preparation of the analysis on the credit structure of new loan requests, including the company involved, the guarantor, and collateral that will be on the loan.  Requires reviewing credit reports, personal financial statements and using data that comes from the spreads on the company.  Included in the analysis is making recommendations on approving or declining the loan request as well as assigning a risk rating score to each loan approval memo.
3. Assists in spreading financial statements on "Moody's Financial Analyst" software.
4. Assists in the performance of annual reviews on existing commercial open-end LOC and letters of credit.
5. Updates the financial statement tracking system as financials are received by the bank.
6. Assists in performing monthly audits on documents, collateral, ability to repay and credit assessment on existing consumer and commercial loans.
7. Performs special studies and portfolio analyses as required.
8. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Lending Regulations, Deposit Regulations, etc.
9. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• 2-3 years of commercial underwriting experience.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
