OVERVIEW:
In this role, you are responsible for performing administrative duties to support the credit analysis function including receiving financial data on prospective and active borrowing accounts; spreading and analyzing data and evaluating short- and long-run prospects of the individual or company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing thorough documentation of all financial analysis work, including ratios and other related information;
- Contacting Commercial Loan Officers to verify information, obtaining additional credit information, and discussing financial statements;
- Ensuring that all credit analysis activities are conducted in accordance with prescribed lending policy; and,
- Maintaining awareness of current industry standards relating to credit analysis, regulatory changes and compliance processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related position normally required;
- Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;
- Moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; attention to detail;
- Proficient PC skills, including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; and,
- Proficient organizational skills; proficient ability to analyze and interpret financial statements; and, visual and auditory skills.
Preferred:
- A thorough knowledge of current lending and loan review regulations, as well as banking regulations, procedures and operations.
