SCOPE:
The Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for the spread, review and analysis of personal and business financials statements and tax returns for both new loan requests and existing loans that meet defined exposure limits as well as selected lines of credit. The Credit Analyst prepares detailed loan summaries on new loan requests that meet or exceed defined criteria for use by the loan officers, chief credit officers, Directors Loan Committee or Board of Directors in determining whether to grant new loan requests or maintain existing loan facilities. The Credit Analyst may be called upon to assist in this process by explaining data or trends when necessary.
The Credit Analyst further assists the lending function by monitoring the receipt of certain borrower data, compliance with loan covenants, the payment performance of the borrower and by providing other assistance and counsel as needed to maintain satisfactory loan portfolio quality.
