Credit Card Operations Clerk controls the issuance and renewal of credit cards by the organization. Maintains inventory of blank cards and sends cards to be imprinted as needed. Being a Credit Card Operations Clerk verifies names and account numbers on cards and mails completed cards to customers. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Credit Card Operations Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Credit Card Operations Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Primary Responsibilities
Answer member calls pertaining to Lost/Stolen ATM , Debit and Credit cards; transaction disputes; mobile deposits; general account inquiries.
Perform general account maintenance.
Perform Debit and Credit card maintenance.
Pull periodic reports regularly and perform associated tasks.
Process account adjustments.
Review and/or process mail deposits, mobile deposits, ATM deposits.
Utilize resources to independently research and resolve member issues; solicit assistance from Supervisor and/or other departments when necessary.
Reply to voice mails, emails and faxes.
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of all credit union products, services and regulations.
Knowledge and Skills Needed
Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
Exceptional customer/member service skills.
Professional written and oral communication skills.
Minimum 1 year teller or banking experience; credit union experience a plus.
Use excellent judgment to take action when requests are beyond routine.
Well organized; detail oriented; ability to multitask.
Computer savvy.
