SUMMARY
Responsible for the management of all remits, website access, credentialing denials, build and management of corporate contracts, etc. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Web site setup and password maintenance

Review and forward electronic faxes (EFT notifications and virtual credit card payments)

Scan and mail collection checks
-
Back up for processing refund checks
-
Back up for reviewing and forwarding hardcopy mail

Reviews any operational issues/questions with Operations Assistant Manager and Manager
-
Set up system access…Athena, Citrix, Series, AS400, DDE, EPIC, OnBase etc.

Submit internal IT tickets
-
Review and resolve issues logged in Ticket Tracker
-
Identify and implement process improvement when applicable
-
Assist with testing, implementation, and review of new processes
-
Assist upper management as needed
-
Assist with special projects as needed
-
Assist AR reps as needed
-
Represent the CBO professionally
-
Research and resolve 277 rejections
-
Research and resolve billing claim edits
-
Maintain assigned work queues
-
Monitor Clearinghouse for EDI enrollment
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using who numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to learn and comprehend basic insurance terminology and protocols in order to handle patient accounts.
