Our Senior Operations Managers play a crucial role in exceeding expectations and providing a superb customer experience. Responsible to drive a full Operations team in Northford, CT that ensures the achievement of Safety, Quality, Inventory, Delivery, Cost metrics. You will lead a dynamic team of Operations and Support areas to achieve operational excellence through coaching and mentoring the team; driving employee engagement and building leadership bench strength within operations: role requiring the ability to balance strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to ensure organizational objectives are met.
• Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports (Talent Management) and problem resolution.
• Oversee daily operations of the organization and its departments.
• Responsible for providing strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, and 12 months out) including labor planning, rate forecasting, and peak season planning.
• Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations, reduce cost per unit and improve productivity to meet and exceed business objectives – SQDCI.
• Mentor and develop leaders.
• Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant
• AOP and Capital planning
• Ensures a safe work environment for all employees
