Credit Card Operations Clerk, Sr. jobs in Wichita, KS

The primary function of this position is to deliver high quality service to our internal and external members. Additionally, this position is responsible for title maintenance, lien and UCC filings and renewals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Process lien perfection on all collateral loans.
• Assist members and Credit Union staff, including branch locations, in all title areas.
• Follow state and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices regarding safety and soundness of title functions.
• Pay state title fees.
• Process lien releases as accounts are paid off or collateral is exchanged.
• Notify vendor to place security interest of Credit Union on title document.
• Follow up on state lien filing.
• Respond to inquiries regarding loans, blue book values, transfers, lien releases, etc.
• Maintain orderly files on each account with attention to complete and accurate detailing of all problems or correspondence.
• Promote and refer Credit Union services and products as necessary.
• Present a positive image of the Credit Union to members through a professional appearance and courteous attitude.
• Maintain confidentiality in all Credit Union and member matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• 1-3 years lending related experience in a financial institution, or related entity preferred.
• Strong oral/written communications skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to operate a computer, perform mathematical calculations related to the finance industry, be open to training for other systems, departments, processes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High school diploma required. College degree and or specialized subject matter training strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years clerical office experience in a financial institution strongly preferred.
