    The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

    Operations Trainer is responsible for the development and communication of operation-related training (i.e.: CRD, Collections, Payment Processing, Bankcard, Transaction Services, etc.), to ensure company standards are met and maintained, including the highest standards of customer service in the industry.  This individual will work with management to recognize and communicate areas that require training to ensure proper adherence to company processes, procedures, and all regulatory obligations. The operations trainer will also help motivate department staff to achieve productivity goals. Supervises and measures trainees' performance and assists Unit Managers with developing and monitoring associate efficiency, as required.

    Responsibilities

    As our Operations Trainer you will:

    • Assist the Operations Training Manager and Operations Trainers in developing training materials and update training as required.
    • Identify new or refresher training opportunities and work with the Training Coordinator to develop a schedule.
    • Works with the Training Coordinator to ensure training rooms are properly stocked with learning tools, including computers, headsets, training material, and other job aids. 
    • Conduct training classes as required.
    • Maintain a training folder for all new staff.
    • Ensure strict compliance with Federal and State laws.
    • Assist the management team in implementing new policies and/or procedures.
    • Manage a variety of projects as needed.
    • Assist Unit Managers as necessary.
    • Periodically review employee work for accuracy and compliance.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    The incumbent is directly accountable for ensuring that trainees are prepared for their specific job functions by the conclusion of class(es).  You're also accountable for the information's accuracy and thoroughness.  Failure to meet these responsibilities negatively impacts the business by hindering production and challenging credibility.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Minimum of one year of relevant facilitation experience or training in an adult learning environment preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge of collections and bankcard practices preferred.
    • Experience in curriculum design and/or development preferred.
    • Working knowledge of State and Federal laws.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility to adapt well to change.
    • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
    • Always maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, in all situations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
    • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent motivation skills are required.
    • Ability to work various shifts.
    • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally 10 – 15%.
    • Working knowledge of instructional design software (Camtasia, Articulate, and Captivate) is a plus.

    Essential Functions:

    The incumbent must meet work deadlines, have regular attendance, good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, the ability to work with a team, the ability to multi-task, use a PC and a computer terminal, and the specialized telephone system. It requires access to all office areas and the ability to sit for extended periods of time, periodically bending and twisting, and frequently apply a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.  The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
