Overview: As a member of the Operations Center, the Member Service Clerk will work with the deposit and loan operations team to assist with a variety of financial and non-financial maintenance tasks. This is a temporary, part-time (20 hours per week) position. Schedule is flexible, Monday - Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary person for answering phones and assisting members and other departments as appropriate.
- Process Fed Return Deposited Items

Process and maintain research requests, company payrolls, and account levies.
- Assist with any legal research requests and reclamations
- Sort incoming mail and post deposit account mail from members
- Process outgoing and returned mail
- Review and verify change of address forms and follow up with issues
- Review daily reports for quality control and perform any necessary filing
- Assists the Loan Operations department with filing of confidential documents

Scan and file loan documents, ensuring the files to be neat and accurate

Qualifications:
- High school or college student able to work 20 hours per week Monday - Friday; Flexible schedule
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service, problem solving and organization skills
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
- Prioritize activities for the best interest of the team when working on projects, both independently and within a group environment
- MS Office Suite proficiency required
