Responds to inquiries from customers and banks regarding operational issues. Additionally, Credit Card Operations Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Operations Assistant
Perform daily accounting functions and entries, maintain proper controls of general ledger account, coordinates and works directly with members of management and aids in the accurate and timely administration of the accounting functions, i.e., ACH receiving and ordering, share draft processing, daily journal posting and daily reconciliation of specific accounts. Additionally, reconcile all General Ledger, Bank, and Payroll Accounts. Process Accounts Payable, NSF’s, Return Items and perform Wire Functions-Incoming & Outgoing. Position will support members of management in various departments to help achieve the credit union’s objectives and goals.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Two to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training program.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work with minimal supervision, be a self-started, requires a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) in an important part of the job.
Other Skills: Excellent mathematical shills, computer skills, understanding of Microsoft, Excel, and other accounting software, Ten Key and excellent communication skills.
