Overview

Successful candidates for this full-time Supervisor In-Training position should have the ability to work with people, handle cash and financial transactions, and be comfortable promoting the credit union's products and services. Initially the Assistant Supervisor will begin under the tutelage of the Member Service Supervisor (Head Teller), learning our organization and assisting with the day-to-day coaching of member service staff. In addition to salary, opportunities to earn incentives are also available.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate, friendly and professional service to members in person and by telephone, including handling deposits, loan payments, transfers, withdrawals, and other financial transactions.
• Assists members with account research and maintenance; answer account and service related questions. Helps members anticipate potential problems, offering suggestions and solutions.
• Maintains a balanced and secured cash drawer, balanced supply of tickets, and other consigned items. In absence of Supervisor, has responsibility for balancing and security of vault cash.
• Oversees ATM and cash machines operations, balancing and care.
• Assists Supervisor in enhancing staff abilities through mentoring and teaching.

Qualifications

• Three years previous supervisory experience with customer service/sales is required.
• Previous cash handling and head tellering experience preferred.
• Bilingual candidates a plus.
