$27.11/hr to $33.88/hr , actual rates will depend on experience.

The Position:
AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a Supervisor, Card Disputes & Risk who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. As a Supervisor, Card Disputes & Risk you will:
- Responsible for maintaining an efficient Card disputes/fraud/risk program with a process that includes maintaining an efficient tracking method as required by Reg Z/E mandated timelines.
- This also includes being responsible for managing the workflow and supervision of the Disputes/fraud employees and will include developing staff while also identifying ways to strengthen processes to prevent and/or mitigate fraud for the Credit Union.
What You’ll Do:
As a Supervisor, Card Disputes & Risk your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervise staff responsible for disputes, fraud detection/prevention/recovery, tracking and monitoring.
- Provides guidance and is a resource on card disputes (including fraud) and proactive strategies for help mitigate fraud loss and support Card disputes (including fraud/risk) program to ensure processes/procedures are up to date and clear, Reg compliance, and timely submissions as per regulatory timelines.
- Strong sense of ownership/accountability, who can assist/identify potential fraud and work with vendors/partners to align and install proper strategies to help minimize any fraud losses.
- Works with third-party processors and law enforcement on cases that need further investigation or when a known suspect has been identified. Oversees coordinating with third parties.
- Manages and provides guidance on the investigation and filing processes for all fraud types and determines if there is a valid dispute or fraud claim. Interacts with members and processors in communicating and processing claims as well as providing provisional credit as necessary.
- Manages the prevention, detection, investigation, and recovery of losses due to fraudulent or suspected fraudulent activities across all products as well as development, implementation and review of fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence programs.
- Manages procedures and processes for activities related to compromised debit and credit card events.
- Monitor/track staff for assigned tasks and timelines for reporting employees and hold accountable for making sure tasks are completed timely.
- Serves as an escalation point for more complex customer issues including the de-escalation of irate callers as necessary.
