Job Summary: The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the administrative office team, ensuring smooth operation of the reception area and mailroom. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensures administrative employees are working efficiently and the department is staffed adequately
• Manage, trains, evaluates, and guides the administrative office personnel
• Performs administrative duties to include receptionist duties, printing, and mailing, as needed.
• Monitors and replenishes office supplies and orders items as requested and approved by leadership
• Coordinates with vendors to keep the office clean and safe and ensure the building is in good working order
• Assists with the preparation, planning, scheduling, and coordinating of company events
• Other duties as assigned

Education, experience, certifications

• Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred
• 5 plus years of experience in administrative roles
• Experience working with Microsoft Suite including Excel and Word
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred

Physical and mental demands

• Frequent typing and use of keyboard/mouse
• Prolonged sitting while viewing a computer monitor
• Near visual acuity
• Frequent walking throughout office including up and down stairs
• Ability to lift 15 lbs. regularly
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop and lift items in order operate machines properly
• Ability to present information clearly and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to management, clients, and other staff members
