Opportunity:

The Credit Clerk will protect and ensure the integrity of the Credit Systems and Company’s assets through proper extension and control of credit for Domestic and International Customers. To assist credit managers as needed with credit and collection processes.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree in Accounting, or equivalent work experience

Experience: Three years in Accounting or Finance; Experience in Credit and Collection

Areas of Knowledge: Basic Accounting, Customer Service, Letters of Credit, Dun & Bradstreet, Health & Safety

Role Responsibilities:

• Analyze credit risk and provide credit managers with the information needed to approve or decline credit.
• Contact credit bureaus, vendors, and personal references to check credit history.
• Provide customers credit information and payment history to vendors as requested.
• Assist with the creation of new customer accounts or account changes in the customer master files, AX, and Creatio.
• Process invoices in customer billing portals. Gain an understanding of requirements and options for each portal and establish working relationships with customer contacts to maintain portal updates or billing concerns.
• Process commission payment requests to accounting each month for agents.
• Maintain customer files as required – updated required every 2 years.
• Additional credit duties as needed/assigned.
