Checks credit applications and grants approval within established guidelines for organizations or individuals. Being a Credit Clerk communicates with the customers and other departments to solve the credit problems. May negotiate terms of payment to assist with collection of overdue balances. Additionally, Credit Clerk requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Credit Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     Fibre Federal Credit Union is seeking a Mail Utility Clerk for our Longview, WA location.

    Wage Range: $16.28 - $23.51
    **The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase. The target range for qualified new hires is typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role.

    PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

    Process mail, run and maintain the postage machine. Deliver outgoing mail daily to the post office. Assure the proper handling of the mail that comes in and goes out of the Credit Union. Scan and catalog Credit Union records and documents. Sort and prepare FSC bags for delivery to all locations.


    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Possess high school diploma or equivalent. Experience on keyboard and 10-key adding machine
    • Always maintain professionalism
    • Be reliable and dependable
    • Be able to work in a high-volume call center environment
    • Maintain confidentiality
    • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully
    • Have outstanding communication skills
    • Have a strong video presence; be comfortable, professional and friendly on camera with members via video access.
    • Able to monitor work for accuracy and thoroughness
    • Can work a flexible schedule.
    • Have basic computer knowledge and exceptional attention to detail
    • Driver's License Required
    • Be bondable

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


    Must be able to pack and load/unload materials up to 50 pounds.


    Must be able to transport said materials from Operations Center and the Main Services Center/Contact Center.
