Credit Clerk jobs in Fort Wayne, IN
Credit Clerk evaluates and suggests creditworthiness of prospects and customers to decrease financial risk to the organization. Checks credit applications and grants approval within established guidelines for organizations or individuals. Being a Credit Clerk communicates with the customers and other departments to solve the credit problems. May negotiate terms of payment to assist with collection of overdue balances. Additionally, Credit Clerk requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Credit Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. This position performs support duties for the Commercial Loan Department including credit analysis, financial statement analysis, global cash flow and collateral analysis, collateral audits, and review of financial covenants working on commercial loans in preparation of Loan Submissions and Sub-Committee level Credit Memos. As a Credit Analyst in Fort Wayne, IN you will:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements of spreadsheets

Qualifications Include:
- B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- Proficient Personal Computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Six months to one year of formal commercial Credit Department training preferred.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00
