Pocatello High School is looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys working with young adults. This position requires assisting students during a study hall class, monitoring behavior, helping with organizational skills, and motivating students to complete assignments.
POSITION TITLE: Instructional Parapro (Academic Success Coach)
LOCATION: Pocatello High School
POSTING DATE: February 28, 2023

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 35 hours per week
DAYS: Nine month employment
SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $11.40 per hour
START DATE: As soon as possible.
JOB SUMMARY: Must be a team player. Must have academic tutoring experience. Experience with classroom management. Must have the ability to communicate with classroom teachers effectively. Must have the ability to work one-on-one with
students. Requires good record keeping skills.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent AND successful completion of a minimum of 32 academic core college semester credits that will lead to a Bachelors Degree OR must pass the ETS Paraprofessional Praxis Assessment Test.
