Being a Credit Clerk, Sr. communicates with the customers and other departments to solve the credit problems. May negotiate terms of payment to assist with collection of overdue balances. Additionally, Credit Clerk, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Credit Clerk, Sr. works under moderate supervision.     The Clerk provides administrative and customer service support by running routine tasks and satisfying customer needs. The Clerk will perform a wide variety of administrative functions in the DC, including but limited to:

    • Follow all safety rules and report any potential unsafe conditions
    • Print orders & create batches in SAP
    • Generate invoices in SAP
    • Create shipping documents for both domestic and export orders
    • Create putawaysfor the north country truck & drive resolution of all discrepancies
    A Day In The Life

    Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:

    • Supporting routine activities based on Service Level Agreement.
    • Working as order management associate and managing overall activities related to customer orders.
    • Contributing as a team member to ensure the team meets all its KPIs.
    • Field customer service inquiries ( examples: delivery status, receiving status, inventorydiscrepancy, etc.)
    • Answer DC hotline calls
    • Resolvepicking shortages
    • Print transfer requisitions
    • Track orders in SAP & on carrier websites
    • Order supplies
    • File documents including in OnBase system
    • Provide administrative support ( creating word documents, scheduling meetings, posting notices, etc.) to the distribution center leadership and team.
    • Assist with yearly Physical Inventory
    • Additional duties as assigned
    What will help you thrive in this role?
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred; High school diploma required.
    • Six months of relevant experience
    • Experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, such as SAP
    • Microsoft Excel experience
    • Experienceresolving inventory discrepancies
    • Experience with factory and DC practices and operations
