A Day in the Life of an ABCO Junior Accountant
The Junior Accountant will share various processes and analysis on a daily, monthly, quarterly and periodic basis such as general ledger account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, processing of payments, including ACH, EFT, Visa, and wire transfers. These balancing, transactional, and reporting duties require accuracy and attention to detail. You will respond to calls and written correspondence in a professional and courteous manner while working to solve accounting issues that may arise. The Junior Accountant will assist in the development and installation of procedures, and controls. This position requires excellent time management skills, which are critical to meeting deadlines associated with these duties. Ongoing training is also an important part of your job, as policies and regulations change often.
