    What You’ll do

    As a Retail Finance and Credit Card Program Manager you will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and management of retail finance and credit card programs within the organization. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to drive the growth and profitability of retail finance and credit card offerings while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

     

    • Develop and execute strategic plans for retail finance and credit card programs in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform program development and enhancements.
    • Define program scope, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions, credit card networks, and other partners to support program implementation and expansion.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of retail finance and credit card initiatives.
    • Lead the development and launch of new retail finance and credit card products, features, and services.
    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
    • Drive product roadmap prioritization, requirements definition, and go-to-market strategies to maximize adoption and revenue growth.
    • Implement risk management policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate credit, fraud, and compliance risks associated with retail finance and credit card programs.
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, privacy laws, and industry standards governing consumer finance and payment card processing.
    • Monitor program performance metrics and compliance indicators and take corrective actions as necessary to address issues and maintain program integrity.
    • Analyze program performance data, including transaction volumes, revenue streams, customer acquisition, and retention metrics.
    • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key insights, trends, and performance against targets to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities for optimization, revenue enhancement, and cost efficiency within retail finance and credit card programs.
    • Provide friendly and professional customer support while assisting customers with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
    • Develop a deep understanding of products and services to confidently address customer inquiries, provide accurate information, and offer suitable recommendations.
    • Apply a positive and enthusiastic approach to customer service while maintaining professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
    • Collaborate with teams to leverage collective expertise to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional results.
    • Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.

    Essential Qualities for Success

     

    • At least 10 years of experience in credit card program management within the retail sector and a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
    • Proficiency in adapting communication style and tone to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at different levels within the organization.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
    • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive relationships.
    • Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and address challenges that may arise in relationships.
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

     Physical Requirements 

    •  Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
    • Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.
    • Ability to navigate and access all facilities.
    • Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
    • Close vision for computer-related activities.
