CREDIT RISK MANAGER develops and implements policies and procedures that reduce credit risk for a financial institution. Manages the building of financial models that predict credit risk exposure to the organization. Being a CREDIT RISK MANAGER oversees the preparation of performance reports for management. May require a master's degree. Additionally, CREDIT RISK MANAGER typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The CREDIT RISK MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     The Bunge Trainee program is an 18-months rotational program through areas of focus to develop knowledge of specific functions. Focus areas will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, and interest. The program entails:

    Focus Area Overview

    The Credit team is responsible for managing and mitigating the credit risk from Bunge counterparties. In this position the trainee will be responsible for assessing quantitative and qualitative information to determine the credit worthiness of new and existing customers. This role works closely with the collections, market risk and sales teams to facilitate credit risk management and timely cash inflows to Bunge while supporting business objectives.


    Skills/Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
    • 0-1 year of experience; prior internship experience strongly preferred
    • Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess exceptional critical thinking skills
    • Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
    • Analytical problem-solving skills with a high level of curiosity to learn and adapt to changing priorities
    • Strong excel knowledge desirable
    • Proficiency in standard PC applications
    • Willingness to relocate domestically and/or internationally for future growth opportunities
    • Proficiency in other languages beneficial
