    Mississippi Federal Credit Union is looking for a CIO and IT Security Officer to manage and direct the IT Department.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Strong IT security/Risk assessment experience and be able to lead the IT Department in implementing security solutions and documentation.
    • Be able to work with hired IT auditors to remediate audit security issues based on internal security audits and regulatory cybersecurity requirements.
    • Maintain and implement IT security program and test users monthly with phishing emails and training materials.
    • Maintain all servers, including Patch Manager.
    • Review and maintain all security logs.
    • Maintain all inventory.
    • Manage deployment software.
    • Knowledge of scripting language is a plus.
    • Provide end-user support.
    • Prefer experience with Symitar Episys and as an IT project manager on projects related to loans, credit cards, debit cards, new checking accounts, and other Credit Union projects including ATM and ITM implementations and IT solutions.
    • Experience with employee on-boarding and off-boarding within Active Directory and all related applications.
    • Extensive knowledge of Exchange 365 and related security protocols.
    • Manage Web Sense server.
    • Manage VOIP phone system.
    • Knowledge of WordPress to maintain changes and development of cu website.
    • Maintain/ Purchase all licensing for credit union software.
    • Oversee and manage all IT related functions of the Credit union, including all other IT hardware/software, and security related items.
    • Be prepared to open new construction and new branches and put IT solutions in place including ATM/ITM solutions.
    • Manage all vendor licensing.
    • Manage all ssl certs.
    • Must be able to multi-task in growing, multi-location and high production financial business.
    • Resolve outstanding issues internally as well as working with vendors to resolve external software issues.
    • Follow MSFCU policies and procedures at all times.
    • Follow objectives to achieve company and department goals.
    • Solve problems accurately and efficiently.
    • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all actions taken as required by law, regulation, and company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain confidentiality of member, employee, and company information.
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of, and adheres to, the requirements of all related policies, procedures, rules and regulations required for position.

    Required Experience:


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field
    • Minimum of 7 years in an IT management position
    • Detail oriented and good organizational skills
    • High level of service and communication skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience working for a financial institution, preferably a credit union
    • Experience with Symitar Episys core

    • Ability to work independently
