Credit and Collections Clerk jobs in San Diego, CA

POSITION SUMMARY:

Exciting, entry-level opportunity to work for a leading sporting goods manufacturer that designs and develops top-quality golf equipment, apparel, footwear, and accessories! This is an on-site, 6-month temporary position in the Carlsbad area!

Qualifications:

• 1 years of successful commercial collection and/or credit experience.
• Experience with credit worthiness determination and collections are required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Microsoft office experience is required.
• SAP / Collection Software experience is desired.
• Must be analytical, detail oriented, articulate and must be able to work independently.
• Excellent follow-through skills.
• Will be service oriented and have experience managing a territory of retail customers.

Responsibilities:  

• Handle territory of accounts as assigned by Credit Manager.
• Prepare reports with credit information for use in decision making.
• Set and maintain customer credit limits.
• Assess credit history/worthiness to help make future decisions.
• Perform ongoing cash collections.
• Assist with order management and risk assessment.
• Research and resolve customer disputes/charge backs.
• Limited travel may be required.
• Daily telephone calls to resolve credit issues.
• Elevate problems to appropriate level.
• Correspond with assigned customer accounts on a regular basis to pro-actively resolve credit issues.
• Review comps/financial data.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Pay Scale of Starting Pay for role: $23-$25/hr.
