Credit and Collections Director leads the overall credit function. Designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables. Being a Credit and Collections Director develops policies regarding the investigation of customers, extension of credit lines, and collections. Consults with current and future clients regarding their level of credit. Additionally, Credit and Collections Director oversees the negotiation and course of action taken for overdue accounts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Credit and Collections Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Credit and Collections Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Credit Analyst

  • Summary: Assist and support lenders in acquiring and compiling needed information for credit analysis and credit approval packages. Input financial information into excel spreadsheet and loan management system software.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Performs analysis of financial statements, cashflows, and pricing analysis
    • Understand and evaluate key components of the financial analysis process including the “5 C’s of Credit” (character, capacity, capital, collateral, and conditions)
    • Learn and understand bank policies in relation to credit requests
    • Prepares presentation materials for new and additional credit proposals
    • Perform other duties within the branch, special projects and research as needed.
    • Proficiency with Excel and Word

    Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
