In the role of Director of Digital Marketing, you'll be a key strategic and operational contributor to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing team while being responsible for the strategic development and leading execution of digital marketing efforts, including a focus on automation.

    You will be a key Marketing leadership team member, contributing to the Credit Union's growth by working collaboratively with the product marketing, branding and web teams, using data and analytics to build digital campaigns that generate and nurture leads; deepen relationships with members; and provide service experiences.

    Your day might include:

    • Development of strategy and execution of digital media, email and automation efforts designed to drive growth, engagement, and retention while upholding the mission of WSECU and the integrity of the brand
    • Analyzing complex data, synthesize insights and seamlessly integrate multiple data sources to create streamlined and efficient processes for automation initiatives.
    • Building a comprehensive marketing automatic program using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, automating many of the manual campaigns currently running, and adding those that are currently missed opportunities

    • Developing a roadmap to continue to build the sophistication of our digital marketing program, with the goal being increased efficiency and an improved service experience for our members
    • Working closely with IT and Analytics and Insight to build effective programs that deliver results to the meet the strategic goal of the organization
    • Blending complex digital marketing programs and results into easily understandable presentations for managers, directors, VPs, and Senior leadership by being an excellent communicator and presenter
    • Ensuring copy and graphics are optimized for greatest conversion, while meeting brand standards and working with the creative team
    • Ensuring the UX maintains ADA standards and is optimized for conversions while working collaboratively with internal partners
    • Working with the analytics team to develop KPI dashboards to regularly share with senior management
    • Staying on top of current digital marketing and technology trends and providing relevant and timely thought leadership in a changing market and competitive landscape
    • Performing leadership duties including interviewing and hiring qualified staff, assigning and reviewing work, providing training and development opportunities, conducting performance evaluations, and inspiring team members with a credit union goal of achieving a high-level of engagement
    • Managing outside vendors and agencies as needed

    What you bring to the team:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Comparable expert-level work experience in a related field may substitute, year-for-year, for education.
    • Minimum of twelve (12) years of marketing experience, preferably within financial services marketing
    • Minimum of seven (7) years of marketing management experience
    • Expert understanding of digital marketing strategies, web platforms, SEM, paid social, SEO, email automation, digital advertising, retargeting, and optimization strategies
    • Expertise in email automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing, Marketo, or Eloqua.
    • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM platforms, email and automation platforms, Adobe Suite, web CMS and MS Office
    • Strong understanding of data, behavior economics, market trends, and testing and analyzing campaign performance
    • Experience identifying content necessary to support an effective digital marketing presence
    • Demonstrated track record as a leader that can develop and execute effective strategies
    • Ability to break down major challenges into addressable components and prioritize
    • Passion to serve members
    • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams collaborating to deliver marketing strategy
    • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to influence across organizations to build strong internal and external partnerships
    • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
    • Executive-level ability to write, speak, and present effectively to members, public groups, staff, and Senior Management

    Competitive pay: $130,281.96 - $195,422.94 annually, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package

    • The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.
    • The target range for qualified new hires is typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.

    Where we're located: 330 Union Ave, Olympia WA. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a hybrid position that blends working in-office and from home. Works onsite at least two (2) occasions per week, with some additional onsite time to meet business needs.

    When you'd work: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, minimum 40 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility required to meet the service needs for this full time Exempt position
