Being a Credit and Collections Director develops policies regarding the investigation of customers, extension of credit lines, and collections. Consults with current and future clients regarding their level of credit. Additionally, Credit and Collections Director oversees the negotiation and course of action taken for overdue accounts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Credit and Collections Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Description:
Empire State University is currently seeking a Director of Non-Credit Programs (State Title: Staff Associate) in the Center for International and Extended Education. The Director will draw upon Empire State University's history in meeting the unique demands of learners by developing non-credit opportunities for relevant, affordable upskilling and development programs. The inaugural Director will spearhead the development and implementation of the university's non-credit learning opportunities strategy including online or in-person short courses, intensive seminars, and workshops culminating in an earned credential, such as a certificate of completion, micro credential, or professional certification. The selected incumbent will work closely with industry and statewide groups to develop a menu of offerings for those seeking skills and qualifications outside traditional degree and certificate pathways.
Working collaboratively across the university, the Director will effectively manage workflows and processes, integrating non-credit learning into the array of educational offerings available to students. This Director will directly supervise the Coordinator of Non-Credit Programs and will report to the Sr. Executive Director of the Center for International and Extended Education.
