Credit and Collections Director jobs in Stockton, CA

BMD Inc. is currently hiring for a Collections Specialist. The Collections Specialist is responsible for initiating collection action by contacting individuals or businesses responsible for the debt; negotiates customer payment plans; maintains, handles, and follows up with collection documentation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform collection calls on past due accounts, negotiate and help bring solutions for past due balances.
• Continuously follow-up with accounts on past due balances, maintains detailed collection notes.
• Communicate with customers to research and resolve billing and reconciliation issues.
• Analyze accounts aging report to determine priority.
• Serves as back up for cash posting, scanning, and all the functions of the Credit and Collections department.
• Performs other duties as requested by the Credit and Collections Department Manager

Education

Preferred

1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections

High School Diploma

Technical/other training or better in Accounting.
