Ensures collectors follow all protocols, laws and regulations to collect payments efficiently. Additionally, Credit and Collections Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. As a Collections Operator, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted.
Based in Key West, FL, you’ll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of the collection system on an assigned shift. You’ll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to challenges that may arise in municipal facilities.
You’ll operate and maintain equipment including but not limited to backhoe, Vacuum Truck, and dump truck; all equipment used in trenchwork, cleaning and clearing sewer lines; install new lines, adjust manhole covers, and frame replacement; inspect, repair, and maintain flowing conditions, patch streets and sidewalks; erect and repair fences; complete work orders and field complaint forms; and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of you and your team.
Here’s what you’ll need:
• A valid driver’s license with no major infractions
• Possess or obtain within 6 months a valid Commercial Driver’s License
• Knowledge of collection system and tools, equipment, materials used to maintain and repair system
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Approved courses in collection systems
• Safe work practices

The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
