Oversees the processing and verification of applications for credit and the solicitation for payment on overdue accounts. Being a Credit and Collections Supervisor investigates credit issues and suggests payment options to be approved. Ensures collectors follow all protocols, laws and regulations to collect payments efficiently. Additionally, Credit and Collections Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Credit and Collections Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and negotiating customer payments, including full payments, payment arrangements, resolving overdue bills, etc.; conducting investigations into accounts as needed; and providing exceptional customer service to our clients in the automotive collision repair industry. Position Responsibilities: Facilitate customer payments via phone and mail channels.Skillfully negotiate immediate full payments, payment arrangements, and customized payment plans as necessary.Utilize various computer programs for accurate reporting and tracking.Leverage analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to investigate and/or resolve past-due payments and delinquent accounts efficiently, maintaining timely resolutions. Demonstrate a basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits. QualificationsPrior experience in accounting/collections is preferredA basic understanding of accounting principles Strong computer skills and a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskExcellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer serviceAdditional InformationCompensation: $21-22/hr. based on experienceBenefits:KSI Auto Parts offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.
